You will crash in public sessions without BE driver (available with Unlimited subscription).

But how do i play online with the cheat then? I used to be able to play no problem a year or 2 aggo

Yeah, of course. You were playing just fine a couple of years ago, and then BattlEye was added to the game. If you want to play in public sessions, you need an Unlimited subscription, which gives you access to BattlEye bypass (Driver Support).

And just as a reminder, we never promised that we would provide it for free if R* ever added a kernel-level anticheat.
