Strovvbe Posted Saturday at 06:02 AM Posted Saturday at 06:02 AM Hey ya'll. Used the chips method and got around 5 mil, ended up being banned a day later. Got the game again through Xbox marketplace this time (on PC) and was wondering if the nightclub method would be safer this time around? Also, does it work on the PC Game Pass version?
Administrators Antrix Posted Saturday at 11:56 AM Administrators Posted Saturday at 11:56 AM Let’s start with the fact that you added far more than you claimed (yes, we clearly see the statistics of the options used). That’s one. Then you immediately started selling all of them, despite the fact that selling casino features above 5-10kk per real-life day is a very risky move. That’s two. I do feel sorry that you lost the account - no one likes to see that happen, especially considering that our overall ban rate is really low. However, such options have never had a 100% safety guarantee (no matter what menu or method), and nowadays R* is even stricter about this kind of activity. At the same time, this is something that should have been clarified beforehand. Even though the risks of selling casino chips are widely known across the modding community, some people may not be aware of it, which is exactly why it’s important to ask first and only then proceed with boosting an account. Given the circumstances, the ban was justified - and I’m saying this without any ill intent. This isn’t about blaming you, but about responsibility. Not knowing the risks does not remove the consequences. I’m closing this topic since the report was based on misinformation, and I have already answered this question multiple times. Please use the forum search (no sarcasm or exaggeration - I’ve addressed this question and provided recommendations literally dozens of times). P.S. Since this is a fairly common question, I’ve already added additional warnings and recommendations directly into the menu UI. They will be available in one of the upcoming test builds, which should help users better understand the risks and avoid similar situations in the future, as well as reduce repeated questions on the forum. The goal is to make things clearer and safer for everyone.
