How safe is it to keep spawned cars in the garage?

If I spawn cars fully upgraded and add them to my garage, then go to the LS Customs and add a tracker+theft protection, it practically makes the car almost the same as if I bought it, meaning I can call a mechanic and deliver it to me or recover if it gets destroyed, however it can't be sold as it says "Sorry - you can only sell vehicles worth up to $50,000" meaning the cost of the car for sale is $0, thus it can't be sold, which I assume is the game's protection against duped vehicles and whatnot. Now the question is - how safe or dangerous is it to keep them like that without selling and use them as normal cars?

Also the sole reason I'm asking this is because there are removed cars that are only available in GTA+ paid subscription since they're "removed" from the game by Rockstar, which is funny.

It should be safe just to spawn car and make it personal. No need to make love with garage tricks.
