Will public sessions be supported in the future?

We are working, and we WILL keep working, toward making public sessions as comfortable as possible, especially when playing with friends in NoBE mode. But we are not planning to add a driver-based bypass for many reasons, including:

1. Ban statistics (at the time of posting, it’s already 1600+ banshave repeatedly proven that R* paid the BE developers a huge pile of money to detect drivers, and ban spikes of around ~1000 players per day (and sometimes up to 70k) are a completely normal thing. While in other BE-protected games public drivers from some random GitHub repo can work just fine for years, in GTAO you have to constantly babysit and deal with this stuff each day.

2. The bans themselves, which, unlike regular account bans, come with much harsher consequences.

3. Pricing. If a driver bypass is released, prices will no longer be "purely symbolic", and it becomes a much more niche product. It’s not profitable from any angle considering the effort required to maintain a driver and the number of users who would actually be willing to pay serious money for a license. So we’ll leave this niche to other menu developers who have the time, health, and desire to deal with it.
