Crashes when going to public lobby

So I have been using the menu with regular GTA V not Enhanced. It works perfectly when I go online in an invite only session. When I try to join a public session it freezes and crashes the game.
Is there a way to fix this? I tried to launch GTA V without the mod menu to check if it would work normal, and it does. So it has to do something with the mod menu.
