A brief update regarding the next build which will include numerous fixes, including REptotex hooks, Lua Manager, and much more. Promised unlocks will also be added to Recovery (we apologize for the delay; there were just too many unlocks that were hard to categorize). Additionally, debug mode will be partially enabled for users to facilitate the localization of minor issues that some may encounter, such as the occasional non-functioning mission script (these incidents are rare but still noteworthy).

Following this, preparations will commence for the final release of the RE 2.2.0 update - Part #3, which will encompass an array of new gameplay/online players options, new Lua API functions, activation of the REflex module, as well as the following changes:

  • An open settings file format, along with the complete removal of the need to regenerate the settings file when updating, even with the addition of new options (only if the settings file is corrupted/invalid).
  • An open Players DB (REflex related module) storage file format, which you can share on the w1tch server or with other users.
  • An open themes file format (there will be a separate button in the theme settings that exports your theme to a new, open file format).
  • An open translations file format.
  • Separation of custom teleport presets and much more from the config file into separate files, which will also have an open format and will not depend on the settings file.
  • A possible preview of the Legacy-Style Menu (as of now, considering recent task system changes, there are plans to implement some modifications to the menu operation).

There have been many changes, and in the coming days, I have already started transferring all these enhancements from the experimental branch to stable.
