This description is temporary for the duration of the Open Beta Test and will be replaced with a more proper and polished version once the OBT is over.
This launcher version has been migrated to Qt С++ instead of .NET, is fully self-contained (standalone build), does not require .NET or similar frameworks, and during the OBT it uses slightly different menu dll files taken exclusively from the test branch.
And while usage with NoBE (with the anti-cheat disabled) has essentially not changed, as for BattlEye, below is a short usage guide:
1. Disable any Anti Viruses including Windows Defender
2. Disable any third party anticheats such as vanguard or easy anticheat if running
3. Disable "Core Isolation" if enabled (reboot required)
4. Start the Rockstar Social Club launcher
5. Enable BattlEye in the Rockstar Social Club launcher settings
6. Run the Witch Launcher as an administrator
7. In the launcher settings enable the option "Driver Support" (after that, the Inject button will automatically change to Init Driver)
8. Select your GTA version and download the latest available dll
9. Click "Init Driver" button and wait for the driver to initialize
10. After u see the message "Everything is ready. You can launch the game." u can start the game
11. After starting the game wait for a message "Injection is now available. You have 2 minutes to inject." then u can inject (injection should be done on the landing page)
12. Go into storymode first then into online
Do not close the launcher while the game is running!
