How safe is recovery now?

Hello, i've been looking to add some funds into my accounts but im not sure how safe the recovery options are. all the posts talking about them seem to be pretty old so im asking now; is it safe? has it been tested? which of the options is the safest?

Recovery is safe as usual, but you have to use it wisely. Our methods are safe, but R* occasionally conducts random (selective) account audits, and sometimes even bans accounts on consoles where exploits, dupes, and other money manipulations methods have been used. Our methods are legitimate as much as possible in terms of game mechanics and fully replicates the operation of both the casino and the nightclub, but if your account is subject to a random audit and R* sees that you have acquired a significant amount of money in a very short period, your account could be at risk.

As Antrix said above, you should use it wisely, there's no exact number but I usually advice adding not much more than what you actually need, and don't go crazy with the amounts in a small timeframe.
