Problem lunching WLauncher.

I just downloaded the WLauncher. When I proceed to open it, it pops up an error saying: 

To run this application, you must install .NET Core.

Would you like to download it now?

I proceed to click yes, and it just closes, nothing else. Nothing is downloading, or poping up. Is this because Disturbed is offline or it is on my end(I went on Chrome to download NET Core, but I may downloaded the wrong version, I don't know)? Any help? Thanks in advance!!
